Dipti Ranjan Pradhan is an experienced Head of Data Engineering with over 13 years of relevant experience in the field. He is an expert in data solutions, data architecture, and business intelligence. He is currently leading the Data Engineering and Data Platform team at Gojek, managing a team of 50+ people. He has set up and nurtured the team and is responsible for scaling, performance, security, and standards compliance. Dipti specializes in building data warehouses using modern cloud platforms and technologies, creating and automating data pipelines, real-time streaming & ETL processes, and building highly intuitive, interactive dashboards. He is also experienced in data cleaning, processing, and machine learning models, and data migration. He is a specialist in open source and enterprise BI technologies, including Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server, Jasper Soft BI Suite, Pentaho BI Suite, Pentaho Data Integration, and Talend Open Studio. Dipti is a specialist in cloud and big data stack, including AWS, Hadoop, Hive, Cassandra, Impala, Sqoop, Oozie, MapReduce, Kafka, Spark-Streaming, and Spark-SQL. He is proficient in core Java, Python, Pyspark, SQL, PLSQL, and HQL. He has experience in leading teams in various domains, including fintech, lending, predictive analytics, SaaS, B2C/B2B, and product development. Dipti has previously worked at Schneider Electric as a Senior Engineering Manager for Data Engineering/Analytics, where he handled staff meetings with senior management, technical road mapping for big data and analytics solutions, project management, and managing stakeholders. He has also worked at Zafin as an Engineering Manager for Data Engineering/Analytics, where he worked on building a big data product for banking clients and led a team of strong developers. Dipti holds an Executive MBA in Business Administration and Management from INSEAD and a Bachelor of Technology degree from Biju Patnaik University of Technology, Odisha.
